Reminded me of Thomas Wolfe "The Lost Boy", written in such a way that the reader discovers the identity of Clyde through the voice of others. The pursuit of the truth and uncovering the evidence doesn't disappoint the reader as we get closer and closer to meeting Clyde. Story with a twist. Loved it!
I was patiently waiting as each person was interviewed, to figure out who ready murdered all the different people. I didn't think it was Clyde but was not sure who it was, George was an option. I was surprised by the ending, it just left me hanging. I hope there is to be a sequel to finalize the cliffhanger of this novel. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys mysteries.
I loved the format of this book. Very interesting and compelling. Kept me on my toes. Liked the way the author steadily developed and built the characters. Would highly recommend it for all who love a new kind of criminal mystery. Discovered this book reading others reviews which peaked my curiosity.
This book has an interesting storyline. At first I didn't care for how the book was written in interview form. At some point I became more interested in the plot. I skipped through some of it because the interview format was mundane.
Conversation dialogue is difficult to follow when the plot is unknown. The conclusion was very disappointing. I almost stopped reading it several times, and now I wish that I had stopped and never finished it.
This was not what I expected. The entire book was a series of interviews. I kept reading and hoping for an exciting story but it never came. Interesting intervews but not what I expected or really enjoyed.
It was an interesting read. I don't want to be a spoiler so will be very vague.. Throughout the book I tried to figure out who it could be and thought of the person it ended up being for a second but then had a different person in mind.
I, too, wish there was some sort of story in the third person or something of that nature and not all interviews but it was still a good read.
The other thing that distracted me from fully enjoying the book were the spelling errors.
I still recommend this read, try and figure it out!
